We live in a harsh Russian climate with long winters, temperature changes, and a shortage of sunny days. Therefore, in the early spring and in the autumn-winter period, many often develop colds. For a long time living in such a climate in the folk tradition there are special ways to strengthen   immunity. These are biologically active mixtures of fruits, berries, honey, etc.

Below are the recipes of such mixtures. Most of them have multiple beneficial effects. In addition, they are real treats. And if they still strengthen   health   and raise immunity, they are simply priceless!

Honey with lemon: a classic recipe to strengthen the immune system

Scald 5 large lemons with boiling water. Clean the skin thoroughly (it gives bitterness). Cut the lemons into slices and remove the bones. Then mix them with 2 cups of honey. Pass the mixture through a blender to obtain a homogeneous mass. If there is no blender, you can skip it through a meat grinder. If desired, add 0.5 tsp of cinnamon. The result is a pleasant sweet-sour mass.

Honey is very good for health. It has scientifically proven antibacterial and antiviral properties. In folk medicine, it is used to alleviate the symptom of coughing, as well as to heal burns and wounds.

There are many varieties of honey. In Russia, the most popular are lime, buckwheat, clover, acacia, etc. Other climatic zones are characterized by such types of honey as avocado, eucalyptus, honey with a camel spine.

However, in some people, honey can cause allergies (this is especially true for low-quality or long-standing product). Were isolated cases of poisoning infants who received to feed the mixture containing honey.

Dried fruits with nuts, lemon and honey

To prepare such a mixture, you need to take 1 cup of raisins, 1 cup of dried apricots, 0.5 glasses of walnuts, 1 cup of liquid honey and 1 lemon.

Raisins contain high amounts of glucose. Like most dried fruits, it is good for the heart and brain. If you use it for baking, before adding to the dough, it is recommended to first cut it, then roll in flour and then add to the dough. Then the berries will not accumulate in one place of the baked product, but will be distributed evenly in it.

Separately, pour the raisins and dried apricots with hot water and leave to soften for half an hour. After that, drain the water, cut the dried apricots into pieces, and leave the raisins as they are.

Lemon with garlic and honey

For this mixture, you will need 3 large lemons, 3 heads of garlic and 300 g of honey.

Lemons scald and cut the skin. Cut the fruit into pieces and remove the bones.

Peel and chop the garlic. Then skip the lemons and garlic through a blender until the mass is smooth. Add honey and mix well.

Place the mixture in a jar and refrigerate. After hardening, it will become creamy and acquire a delicate taste. Take it for 1 tbsp. spoon a day.

For this mixture, you will need 300 g of peeled pine nuts and 1 cup of honey.

Cranberries with honey

For this mixture, stock up on cranberries and thick honey in a 1: 1 ratio.

To make it, grind viburnum berries with sugar in a 1: 1 ratio. The mixture should be stored in the refrigerator. Take 1 tbsp. spoon 1-2 times a day. But to uncontrolledly increase its consumption is impossible, since this can cause a decrease in pressure and weakness.
