A rare man, even aged, will calmly accept erection problems. And if the guy is not yet 30, then impotence is something akin to the end of the world. What could be the cause of impotence, and is there an opportunity to restore normal functioning of the most important male organ?
In fact, there are two groups of causes of erection dysfunctions – physiological (caused, for example, by diabetes mellitus or hypertension) and psychological.
If the main problem is health, then, alas, you cannot do without going to the doctor. But to solve psychological problems, a few consultations with a psychologist or even a confidential conversation with your regular woman are enough.
How to find out whether the problem is psychological impotence or physiological?
Diseases that provoke sexual impotence in men develop gradually and gradually bring more and more disorder into intimate life. A subtle hint that you need to pay attention to the general condition of the body is the absence of morning erections, premature ejaculation, or vice versa – the achievement of ejaculation only after a long and debilitating sexual intercourse. Physiological causes are actually quite infrequent.
And psychological impotence occurs in a completely healthy man who, for example, has experienced stress, scandal, and divorce. Often it can occur not immediately, but after some time, calculated in days, weeks, months, years (this is purely individual).
Cases of primary impotence are also known. Their causes are pathologies of the genital organs or dysfunction of certain departments of the nervous system.
Secondary impotence is often caused by a man’s doubts as to whether he is able to satisfy his partner or the fear of rejection. Even if the fears did not materialize, the guy feels his inability to cope with the situation. This is typical for young guys who have a modest experience in sexual activity.
If such doubts became the cause of erectile dysfunction, then a few visits to a sex therapist, psychologist or psychotherapist, explaining the groundlessness of such fears, are enough, because it all depends on the man himself. Sometimes the reasons lie in overwork, a lack of amino acids, vitamins, an incorrect schedule, workaholism, or a certain personal psychological reason, which, perhaps, is invisible even to the man himself. However, this is also not a physiological problem and is also detected and solved with the help of a psychotherapist or psychologist specializing in sexual problems.
Often, to eliminate psychological impotence, it is necessary to analyze the relationship with a constant partner, because in fact, it is not a single man who needs help, but a couple whose relationship has reached an impasse – impotence is just a sign of frustration.
Sometimes the cause of impotence becomes, for example, chronic fatigue or depression.
But the partner herself can often help if she shows patience, love and imagination. Tenderness, affection, striptease with a demand to wait for the logical conclusion of the situation (the forbidden fetus is very exciting) … – in the fight for a stable erection, all means are good.
If all else fails, one has to take the notorious medications, and in especially critical cases, men even decide on an operation in which a special prosthesis is sewn into the penis. An implant will help bring an organ into a fighting state when a man so desires, however, it is definitely not worth rushing with such drastic measures, if there is an opportunity to “agree with a limb in a good way”.
If you have problems with potency and there is a suspicion that the reason is not of a physiological nature, do not expect that everything will pass by itself. Each subsequent failure is superimposed on the psyche, and subsequently you will have to deal with a much greater burden – not only the stress that caused problems with potency, but also the painful perception of failure.
